If your kiddo likes dinosaurs they are going to LOVE Fossil Posse! Fossile Posse educates kids (and adults) about the dinosaurs that roamed the Vail Valley floor millions of years ago. They offer, camps, tours, a museum as well as live and virtual events for the classroom and special events. It is also the BEST birthday party a kid could ask for!

CAMPS

Fossile Posse camps allows your little one to become a PALEO-EXPLORER and is a MUST for any fledgling paleontologist! These camps let them hold and examine REAL fossils, such as teeth, skulls, and bones! They also explore the prehistoric world and the ancient Colorado landscape. They have tons of fun excavating fossils in the dinosaur BONE QUARRY! Kids can let their imaginations run free while creating their very own own dinosaur footprints!

TOURS
Here’s your chance to enjoy a scenic, personalized, guided hiking tour of ancient, local dinosaur sites, and study up-close footprints and bones. This is for the truly adventerous.

MUSEUM at DINOSAUR JUNCTION
Dedicated to inspiring, educating and enriching life in Eagle County and Colorado by deepening the understanding and appreciation of history and science through the research, preservation and exhibition of Colorado’s high country fossils and paleontological history. Exhibits cover a comprehensive 200 million year history of the region, from fossil dinosaurs beginning in the Triassic, through the Jurassic, and into the Cretaceous including fossils from the Western Interior

WHITEWATER RAFTING DINOSAUR TOUR
Family-friendly dinosaur discovery adventure combines the best of Vail whitewater rafting with fossil hunting for a prehistoric journey like no other. Raft back in time, more than 150 million years along the beautiful Colorado River, where you’ll see and touch footsteps, bones, and other remnants of the great dinosaurs and reptiles that once roamed Colorado.
