Each of these movie theaters offers something different and unique.
Riverwalk is our neighborhood theater it offers easy parking, main-stream movies and the movies change quite regularly. They offer delicious pizza, candy, popcorn and other appetizers. They also offer a selection of beer, wine and soda. Enjoy a delicious craft beer or wine by the glass while enjoying a feature film- AWESOME! Now takes credit cards.
Blue Starlight Cinema is a one of a kind movie experience. During the winter months it offers Indy films in its theater in west Vail near Hotel Talisa. Offering chef-prepared dining service in the theater, and themed live entertainment. In the summer, enjoy an outdoor movie experience in Minturn at the summer Drive-In.
Capitol Theater is located in Eagle so it is a little farther away but it is still an easy drive for a movie that is not playing in Edwards. It also has easy parking and there are tons of great restaurants just steps away from the theater which makes it very convenient for a night out. It shows popular, current movies and the lineup changes often keeping it fresh.
There are other nearby venues that also offer movie mostly for kids and families
Avon library, Eagle library, Gypsum library
FREE movie matinees are offered at the Avon, Eagle and Gypsum Public libraries. This is a great place for kids and families to come and watch some favorite family friendly movies. The free movies are also served with yummy popcorn! It just doesn’t get better than that.
Beaver Creek
During the summer months, enjoy a family friendly film in Beaver Creek. All movies are FREE. Food, drink and activities start at 7:30pm. The movie will begin at sundown (around 8:15pm) in Centennial Park, at the base of the Buckaroo Express Gondola. Bring your own blankets and lawn chairs.
Minturn
“The Highest Drive-In the Country” is located at Little Beach Park in Minturn and provides enough space for 40 vehicles. Tune your radio to FM to listen to the films, set up your picnic blanket and enjoy watching movies beneath the starry night sky. Plus this is a really great way to see the funky, eclectic mountain town of Minturn. Minturn has a variety of restaurants and shops to browse so make an evening of it.
