  • When I finally got a good pair of goggles I was hooked. By good I mean something like the Bolle Carve goggles. This was many years ago and I have not been skiing in a long time. I am sure these new high tech goggles would be even more useful and comfortable.

Having goggles that do not fog, are comfortable and allow you to see in difficult conditions are certainly worth the money. I have been in flat light and white out conditions where having good goggles makes all the difference. This can also be a safety issue. If you are in bad conditions and cannot see well, you could ski right off a steep slope. With good goggles you can see definition in the terrain and stay safe!

    These look great. Thanks.

    • Hello Jessica,
Thank you for your comment. Yes it is all about having a good pair of goggles, for safety, comfort and enjoyment you need a good pair of goggles. Yes the Bolle Carve Goggles are a great classic choice but I do love the new Spherical lenses that offer such a wide field of crystal clear vision.

  • Would you recommend the interchangeable goggles for kids? I've been skiing with my husband a lot but we're finally going to take the kids; a five year old, two 10 year olds, a 13 year old and a 15 year old. Do you think the younger ones would manage with changing the lenses themselves?

    • Hi Marketa, That is a great question! While interchangeable goggles are very easy to change out and I would, no doubt, think even your younger kids could do it after they have been shown how, I don't think I would go that route. First of all, the little kiddos would need to not lose (or drop from a chairlift) the extra lenses and the new mirrored lenses are easily scratched and I just don't think little hands would be gentle enough to not scratch them...all the time. I think I would stick with classic goggles like the Bolle Carve goggles or Bolle Mojo goggles that are more scratch resistant or try the new photochromatic goggles that automatically adjusts the lens color to the light conditions-no changing lenses required.

  • Your content was much more informative than others I have read. It helped me a lot to know more about the differences between different ski goggles and choose the right goggle. It also helped me to gain knowledge about different types of goggles. I've bought the Bolle Carve Snow Goggles; it's really good and comfortable to wear.

    • Hi Christy I am so happy to hear that you found the the list of top rated ski goggles helpful and informative. The Bolle Carve Goggles are a classic choice, they are reliable, durable and easy to use, and I am glad you are enjoying them! Have fun on the slopes.
