Traveling with your dog to the world-class ski resort of Vail can be tricky, we have compiled a list of dog-friendly hotels complete with videos of each hotel to make it easier.
Please make sure you contact each resort directly as most hotels only have a few dedicated dog-friendly rooms and you’ll want to make sure they are available.
Additional pet fees are noted, as is the the number of animals each hotel will accommodate and whether they take large dogs or just small dogs.
Vail is a very dog-friendly resort, with pets shops, local veterinarians, dog parks, dog-friendly trails, walking paths and welcoming, dog-friendly hotels. Bring your furry friend, a collar and leash, as most areas do require your dog to be leashed, and come have some fun!

Comfort Inn is a very affordable hotel located in Avon, CO. It is not that close to the slopes but there is a shuttle that will take you up to the base of the ski mountain and there is a gondola at the Westin Resort that is within walking distance.
Located in Edwards about 10 miles west of Vail and about 4 miles west of Beaver Creek. It is within walking distance to Freedom Park, an off-leash area for the dogs with a pond, sandy beach and dog-friendly bike path. The Inn at Riverwalk just completed a huge renovation. It is a beautiful property with lovely upgrades.

We travel with our dog all the time! It's great to have a list of places that are dog-friendly. My favorite hotel to stay at when in Vail is Antlers. They have lots of pet-friendly rooms available and they only charge an additional $25 a night pet fee.
