Traveling with your dog to the world-class ski resort of Vail can be tricky, we have compiled a list of dog-friendly hotels complete with videos of each hotel to make it easier.
Please make sure you contact each resort directly as most hotels only have a few dedicated dog-friendly rooms and you’ll want to make sure they are available.
Additional pet fees are noted, as is the the number of animals each hotel will accommodate and whether they take large dogs or just small dogs.
Vail is a very dog-friendly resort, with pets shops, local veterinarians, dog parks, dog-friendly trails, walking paths and welcoming, dog-friendly hotels. Bring your furry friend, a collar and leash, as most areas do require your dog to be leashed, and come have some fun!

The Evergreen Lodge is situated in the heart of Vail between Lionshead and Vail Village, it is not a slopeside property. Guests enjoy the year-round outdoor heated pool indoor hot tub and two cedar saunas. Onsite dining at The Altitude Cafe and Altitude Club sports bar.

The Sebastian is an awesome boutique hotel in Vail. Located in the heart of the Vail Village, The Sebastian has a mountain-view pool, hot tubs and a roaring fire pit. The hotel itself is not ski-in or ski-out but their Base Camp offers ski-in ski-out access from Vail Gondola One. Ski valets help you into warm ski boots and out onto the slopes.

The Westin Kids Club entertains children age five to 12 with fun and engaging activities, while parents enjoy some guilt-free adult time.
Comfort Inn is a very affordable hotel located in Avon, CO. It is not that close to the slopes but there is a shuttle that will take you up to the base of the ski mountain and there is a gondola at the Westin Resort that is within walking distance.
Located in Edwards about 10 miles west of Vail and about 4 miles west of Beaver Creek. It is within walking distance to Freedom Park, an off-leash area for the dogs with a pond, sandy beach and dog-friendly bike path. The Inn at Riverwalk just completed a huge renovation. It is a beautiful property with lovely upgrades.

We travel with our dog all the time! It's great to have a list of places that are dog-friendly. My favorite hotel to stay at when in Vail is Antlers. They have lots of pet-friendly rooms available and they only charge an additional $25 a night pet fee.
